Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Eazip service ("Service"), operated by Eazip ("Eazip", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Eazip provides an API that fetches files from URLs you specify and packages them into ZIP archives for download. We also provide a web dashboard for managing your account, API keys, and jobs.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your Content and URLs
When you use the Service, you provide URLs pointing to content hosted by third parties ("Your Content"). You represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to access and download the content at each URL you provide.
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of Your Content.
Eazip does not monitor, review, or endorse Your Content. We act solely as a technical intermediary that fetches and packages files on your behalf.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Access, download, or distribute content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
- Aggregate or distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
- Collect or distribute illegal content of any kind.
- Impose an unreasonable load on third-party servers through the URLs you provide.
- Use the Service as a general-purpose web scraping or crawling tool.
- Circumvent access controls or authentication mechanisms on third-party servers.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Violate any applicable export control laws or economic sanctions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are violating these terms.
6. DMCA and Copyright Complaints
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content processed through our Service infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to [email protected] with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including sufficient information for us to locate it.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
7. Pricing and Payment
The Service is offered under Free and paid plans as described on our Pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
We may change our pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. We will notify you of any price changes in advance.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
9. Data Retention
ZIP archives created through the Service are stored for a limited period depending on your plan (Free: 24 hours; Pro: up to 60 days as configured). After the retention period, archives are automatically and permanently deleted. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from automatic deletion.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Any URL you provide will be successfully fetched (as this depends on third-party servers beyond our control).
- ZIP archives will be free from corruption or defects.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EAZIP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO EAZIP DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO SUCH LIABILITY.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eazip from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content or the URLs you provide; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
13. Export Compliance
You represent that you are not located in, or a resident of, any country subject to U.S. or applicable trade sanctions, and that you are not listed on any restricted party list maintained by applicable sanctions authorities. You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations.
14. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
